INVITATION TO UNEMPLOYED TOURISM GRADUATES TO APPLY FOR PLACEMENT WITHIN MUNICIPALITIES AND TOURISM PRODUCTS The department of Economic Development, Environment and Tourism invites applications from suitably qualified and unemployed tourism graduates to apply for placement at municipalities and tourism products. The tourism graduates will be placed in the tourism management sections at municipalities and tourism hospitality products where tourism structures and tourism partnerships need strengthening. Tourism has been recognised as a fast growing competitive business globally and growth is expected to increase over the next decade and will arguably have a ‘powerful impact’ on the growth of the tourism industry worldwide. This creates a huge demand in capacitating all Industry players including Local and District Municipalities to provide the necessary environment that supports this growth.
